I have been sailing with Regent for 20 years and am constantly amazed at how wonderful the crew are! I can't imagine how anyone could be so mean and rude that they made them cry 😡.
Do you remember when Captain Abhi had the entire tender crew up on the stage - and we gave them a standing ovation? I was so happy to see them get the recognition ☺️. That was my idea and Captain Abhi liked it enough to make it happen. He is such a class act!
I continue to be impressed with all of your posts! I know they took inordinate amounts of time to do. I also appreciated your positive outlook and your balanced outlook.
I would do a lengthy cruise in a heartbeat, my husband is nervous about trips longer than 3 1/2 weeks. If I could convince him to go, we would sign up!
Compared to other cruise lines we've been on, we had a huge variety. It helped that they kept the pool grill buffet open in evenings when weather permitted, and that offered grill food in a casual setting.--this is done only on WC to my knowledge. The Compass Rose menu features a variety of regular items that are always available, including a wide selection of meats, seafood, potatoes, and vegetables. I wish they would have a "comfort food" menu on longer cruises--omelettes, grilled cheese, tuna melts, that sort of thing, on the room service menu. Destination menus kept things interesting, too.
I've enjoyed your FB posts in the Regent group, which led me to these Substack posts. We will also be on the Splendor's 2028 Legends of the Pacific cruise. I certainly hope our paths cross during that sailing!

Thank you. I try to find the good in everything, unless it’s the crew being ill-treated.

I highly recommend it!
Did you get bored of the food? Or did they change it up enough to not?
