What a beautiful and bittersweet sendoff! It’s crazy to believe that you guys are already finished! It has been such a joy to follow this adventure.I can’t wait for the next one!
I was on the first 2 segments of the world cruise but never met you and Sherpa which I am surprised about because I am friendly and met pretty much everyone else it seems ! I found your blog via a fellow cruiser and I have followed you with much interest. My husband and I are about to depart on the Grand Arctic cruise with Regent July 10 and I am very inspired to write a blog as you have. You obviously put a lot of time and effort into it and I am not so sure I would dedicate as much effort but it is going to be very much a once in a lifetime trip, this maybe the time to make that effort ! I reviewed your posts from the earlier segments and discovered we had actually been on a couple of the same excursions and it was so interesting to read your views compared to mine. Your photographs are excellent, you have a very artistic eye. I swear I could have stood next to you, taken the same picture and mine wouldn't have been half as good! I don't drink beer (I prefer gin) but Sherpa's assessments were a delight to read and almost make me want to try a destination beer myself. One final comment, we love Jasmine too. Thank you for sharing your trip.
I have very much enjoyed sailing with you, both in person and merely virtually! The weeks we were on board ourselves made your daily journal come alive - isn't Jasmine delightful? - and don't she and Ralph make a great couple?! I sit reading your final blog from Berlin, where we enjoyed several Paulaner Hefeweissen, which I know Sherpa came across in Shanghai😉 A world away and yet....thank you for sharing your experiences and your enjoyment. Your family will surely be delighted to see you home safely. Hugely appreciative of your posts here - thank you, and here's hoping we see you both on board a Regent cruise before too long, when we will surely come and say 'Hi'!!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful stories and photos! I especially enjoyed your excursions to museums and your descriptions and pictures of artworks and sculptures. I loved that you used every minute of shore time and explored on your own whenever you could! You really enjoyed this adventure to the max!
I will miss the travels and beautiful photos. Thanks for taking us along.
