Orchids, Orchids, and More Orchids--A Walk through the National Orchid Garden
A highlight of our visit to Singapore was our visit to the National Orchid Garden. We’ve been to Botanic Gardens all over the world--this ranks as our Number 1 favorite.
Orchids!
Here we are at the entrance to the National Orchid Garden at Singapore Botanic Gardens. The orchid gardens are the highlight feature—over 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrids are showcased.
This path just left of the entrance is flanked by thousands of golden blooms, the famous Golden Shower or Dancing Lady Orchids.

And thus ends our walk through the National Orchid Gardens of Singapore. If we had done nothing in Singapore except this orchid walk, it would have been enough. The morning we spent strolling through these lush gardens filled with thousands of orchids will be one of the highlights of our world travels.

Absolutely exquisite! Of course, the purple varieties caught my eye but all were stunning- I think I could have spent all day there. I felt at peace imagining walking through! High praise for favorite botanical garden! WOW! Going to scroll back through now 💜
