A Photo a Day from the 2025 Regent World Cruise--Miami to Rio
While organizing all the photos I took during the World Cruise into a manageable collection for future projects, I’ve selected one photo from each day of the cruise to share.
Over the next eight Substack posts, I plan to share one photo from each day of the cruise that captures the essence of that day. Considering I shot an average of 300 photos per day—from both my iPhone and my Canon DSLR—I’ve been sifting through a lot of photo files. In my at-home photo routine, I delete photos before bed; on the ship, I was happy if I could share a few of the best photos, but there was never enough time to do a thorough culling of blurry or duplicate shots.
It’s fortunate that photography is my hobby and passion—I don’t mind spending hours every evening managing photo files. And if I’m going to do all this organization, I might as well share while I’m at it. The 2025 Regent World Cruise consisted of eight segments, each lasting 18 to 25 days. Here is a glimpse of Segment One, Escape and Delight in Brazil, which cruised from Miami, Florida, to Rio de Janeiro.
